It was one of my dreams to get an official makeup class, dapat sijil, kalau boleh nak ambik diploma...tapi kerja, budget, kena fikirkan jugak. Kalau nak belajar tinggi lagi, maybe i have to persue my career dalam bidang ni pulak. Kalau tidak rogi besoooooooooooo. So, buat masa sekarang cukuplah sekadar belajar how to enhance the beauty that has been gifted by the almighty. (Tapi kalau malas main redah jaaaaaaaa)

 I was very excited to see the list of makeup products which will be used during all lessons.

1st lesson :

Dart lambat! ha ha. Kelas should be starting at 10:30, tapi dart sampai 10:35 fuh fuh. Bila masuk dalam bilik kelas, semua dah sampai, dalam bilik tu ada satu meja besar, white board, satu sudut yang penuh dengan MAC products(whoaaaaaah seperti mahu curikkk) with bobbi brown brushessssss!! Setiap tempat duduk dibekalkan dengan cermin muka, lengkap dengan cotton muka, cotton bud, air satu mangkuk, hairband. Kat tengah-tengah meja pulak ada skincare products from malswisse. Bila dah duduk, makeup guru perkenalkan diri, dan start the lesson! Satu bilik dalam 10 org ja. Masa tu i was the only Malay. phew.

Learning about skincare. Step-step penting dan disiplin yang harus diikuti semasa mencuci muka untuk mendapatkan hasil muka yang licin macam kulit teloq. I actually like their mask most because of the smell of berries was soooooo tempting! Suka gila....then the 2nd product which i like most was the makeup remover! Takda contain oil, 100% from water base. Tapi mak aih....Kalau pakai waterproof mascara kena buat kiraan sampai 100 (letak cotton yang dicalit dengan makeup remover dan jangan gosok mata) baru boleh dapat hasil yang best! Wudda! Takda masa aku ha ha. Aku pulak masa tu pakai makeup aku tipu-tipu ja dah kira sampai 100 gila kot tak larat tunggu heeeee.

Daripada makeup remover, cleanser, mask, scrub, toner, mosturizer semua kena pakai dan makeup guru tu tunjuk practical. Kami pun kena la ulang-ulang, gosok la muka tu sampai cikgu puas hati. Tapi boleh dikatakan lambat la untuk dart dan i think i dun have that much time untuk dihabiskan kat muka. Nak basuh muka pun dekat 2 jam kahhhhh?? oh tidak, anak aku macam mana?? Aku rasa berguna untuk aku sebab cara-cara dan konsep lebih boleh difahami masa kelas. Contohnya, when applying cleanser, kita kena circle movement, sebab nak buang dirt keluar. Kalau apply toner, mask semua kena apply dengan cara lain sikit. Foundation pulak lain cara applynya. Then, sebab apa kena pakai toner lepas cleanser. Banyak technical words lah yang cikgu tu ajar. Tapi nampak gayanya dah semakin lupa ni. Sebab tak catit nota sangat. Banyak og practical work ja.

Sampailah pemilihan foundation yang sesuai dengan muka. One thing yang dart dapat, jangan test foundation dekat tangan, sebab takkan sama colour, sebaliknya test dekat bahagian cheek yang dekat jaw bawah telinga. That is the best colour for us. Dart pun bila test, baru perasan tersalah pilih foundation gelap sikit sebelum ni. tsk.

2nd lesson :

Day makeup. We've used all MAC products. Basic makeup sebenarnya. Rata-rata yang ke kelas haritu tak pernah makeup sebab tak yakin, atau muka bermasalah and whatsoever. Yang menariknya, kami belajar cara untuk buat D.I.Y BB CREAM! i'll post in the next entry lah pasal ni. Tak payah beli dah kat drug store. Kami try apply sebelah foundation dan sebelah muka lagi BB CREAM. The makeup guru cakap Dart lebih sesuai with BB CREAM sebab nampak lebih glowing. Tak taulah, but lama-lama i prefer foundation. BB cream ni moisture dia lebih sikit. 

The best part was eye shadow colour matching. Yang ni memang 1st time tahu technically.

Warna terbahagi kepada 3: WARM, COOL, and NEUTRAL. 

WARM : yellow / green / brown / orange

COOL: red / blue / purple

NEUTRAL : white / black / grey / dark brown

Warna dalam satu kelompok boleh dicampur. Contohnya blue + purple. Yellow + green. Then neutral colour pulak boleh campur dengan warm/cool colour. Contoh : orange + dark brown, Green + black... Warna warm tak disarankan untuk campur dengan cool colour kecualilah dengan skill blending yang baik! So kalau nak basic2, apply satu kelompok ja...

So, lip colour dan cheek colour kenalah bersesuaian dengan colour di atas. 

WARM : brown / orange

COOL : pink / red 

NEUTRAL :  any colour

Make sense kan?

Lama dart tak colour eye brow bagi cantik. So kat situ dart buat practical lebih sikit. Bukan apa, malasssss haha.

Penggunaan brush pun ada belajar. Semua pakai this set of brush. Best gila! 1st lesson lagi dart dah beli this complete set huahuahau.

sister's simple & natural makeover

My sister fatin rarely makeup. sangat simple orangnya, mempunyai dahi dongga sehingga menyebabkan kapasiti otaknya mampu menghafal segala anatomi badan manusia. Mana main makeup-makeup ni heheehhe. Tapi lebih rajin dari gua, at least everyday pakai bedak. Kalau haku, bila malas langsung tak pakai apa. So, kakaknya yang suka menconteng arang ke ke mata bila terlebih rajin ni conteng-contnglah muka adiknya. Mentang-mentanglah balik Aloq Setaq, anakku 24 jam dengan tok. ngehehehhe. Boleh buat keja merapu! 

Her skin condition is average, tak teruk dan tak la licin macam kulit telur! disebabkan bekulit putih cina, her face dah mula naik freckles di bahagian hidung. Tapi daku tutup dengan concealer hehehehhehe. So far, still boleh lagi pakai makeup yang bercoverage rendah sebab kulit muka consider OK, tak perlu tebal berinci2. Dart picked natural colour untuk mata, iaitu hijau lumut supaya tak menyebbkan margin yang besar antara sebelum dan selepas makeup. cuma untuk menyerlahkan lagi kecantikan adikku sahaja. so, mari kita lihat hasilnya!

Licin habis!

Masalah lazy eye can be covered by applying mascara. Takda penekanan di bahagian eye crease. No serious contouring. 

For me, kalau nak nampak cantik bila makeup, utamakan our skin condition terlebih dahulu. Bila skin kurang problem, insyallah akan nampak cantik + flawless bila tambah makeup walaupun nipis n natural. Tambah sedikit skill. Sebabnya kalau muka bermasalah, nak kena apply coverage yang banyak, menyebabkan nampak tak natural.

Adikku banyak baca buku, so kena pakai spek. Tapi stil cute. aceh.

Ada lagi setahun untuk bertitle dr. good luck.

SHIHO inspired editorial look

Semalam Dart buka kotak yang bawak balik from Japan, and i came across marc jacobs catalogue(one of my favourite japanese magazine collections) for summer collection. Dan miss SHIHO(japanese supermodel)'s makeup ni sangat menarik tertarik kau memang da BOM!, shocking pink look, so i decided to give a try. Actually gambar miss shiho ni lebih gelap, tapi setting camera ni menampakkan muka SHIHO ni pale aja, but its not.

macam biasa, start with base, sama macam post lepas.

Japanese makeup is always be simple ever. Especially kat eye area, kalau boleh diorang akan kekalkan with earth colour. Miss SHIHO guna shadows of brown. Dart pun suka. 

Nampak natural saja. What i've used were:

1. mac mineralize duo for base 

2. mac pigment(brown and dark brown) untuk crease n lid area

Then, Dart apply :

1. Shiseido Intergrate Impact double liner - 

liquid eyeliner(brown and gold as highliter di kelopak mata)

2. mac lash curler

3. Maybelline magnum mascara

Untuk cheek area, SHIHO nampak comel sangat dengan pipi pink gitu. 

So, what i've used to look similar to her were :

1. majolica majorca cheek customize

2. mac rose ole highlite powder for highliter

And, lastly for cheeky pink lip look, 

 1. NYX lip smacking fun colours(shocking pink)

2. mac pink lipglass lipgloss

And the result was.....

sama ka? Pipi kurang jadi la kot.

Ignore my messy eyebrow. Nanti i pi trim bagi cantik ;p

Oh let me give a riview for NYX lipstick that i've used. Lipstick ni senang gila lekat di gigi dan tertanggal colour. So, terpaksa tambah mac lipgloss untuk mengekalkan colour asal. Kalau tidak, senang tanggal, so tak best.

Hi! Sudah lama mommy Dart tak post pasal makeup tutorial dan I've been waiting for this precious time!  Baby hayyan tengah tidur dengan nyenyak, so dart ambil kesempatan untuk touch up my face. Actually Dart sakit tangan(tersalah angkat baby hayyan erk), and selalunya time macam ni dart akan buat kerja rumah, tapi dart stop untuk legakan my ache hands. 

Dart tergerak untuk buat post regarding makeup tutorial ni sebab i was tagged by my friend's sister, who likes to blog about makeup! Makeup adik beradik ni lawa sangat, muka pun lawa! Dart adore their look!

Farah tagged me with editorial look but since i got no magazine(sebab baru lepas pantang), i just picked some random pics of celebrities, 1 of them is Rihanna!

So, mari kita mulakan. Bila tengok live, purple applied di muka Rihanna nampak sama, tapi bila snapped pic, tak nampak serupa. Ok, for base to be applied to my skin(after pakai toner, moisturizer and charged water), i've used :

1. mac prep+prime base

2. mac Studio Sculpt liquid foundation

3. mac studio fix compact powder

4. mac concealer

Dan, muka akan jadi seperti di bawah serupa hantu!

start with base ---> apply with eye shadow

 Then, for eye shadows, Dart guna :

1. mac colour 3 pallete - for base

2. mac semi precious - crease area 

3. mac pigment(black n greyish purple)- eye lid area  

Untuk menambah seri mata, Dart tambah :

1. Maybelline Eyestudio black pencil eyeliner

2. Majolica majorca black liquid eyeliner

3. mac eyelash curler

4. maybelline magnum volume mascara

For eyebrow,

1. Benefit Smokin' eye palette

2. mac mineralize fir highliter

Dart tak guna false eyelash sebab satu tak minat, i prefer natural look, so tak jadi sebijiklah macam rihanna tu sebab bulu mata dia tebal! he he. 

For, cheek area, Dart apply:

1. chanel travel makeup pallette blusher (brownish look)

2. mac rose ole face highlite powder 

Lastly, for lip area pulak, 

1. Ana sui lipstick(my soul lipstick ever!!)

2. mac lipglass lipgloss(campur dua colour)

Dah siap!

Jom hubby and hayyan kita g jenjalan! Ish rasa tebal gila muka, i rarely makeup macam ni, selalunya simple ja hihi. Yang ni telebih rajin sudeh! 

 Dalam gambar nampak simple, aku ka yang tak reti ambil gambar or memang tk tebal? ah whatever lah.

Last week i went to my 2nd cousin house for lunch treat at usj 6 and my aunt told that zahirah, also my 2nd cousin is now currently a makeup artist for m.a.c at sunway pyramid. Sebelum ni she was in chanel. Masa zahirah di chanel, i used to get free samples, lipticks which sampai sekarang tak abis-abis. Banyak sangat! Bila zahirah kat mac, time to get free samples(oh lupa, mac takda sample, yang display semua packaging sama macam the real product), discounts yeah. Tapi betul cakap zahirah, dia punyalah muak tengok makeup. Setiap kali product baru launch, dia akan dapat like 5 ketul for personal simpanan. Muak muak. hehe. Anyway sungguh happy dapat ini semua. Taktau bila nak habis pakai.

M.A.C Tartan Tale - A Lady & Her Tricks Buff & Line Brush Collection review

Kinda dissapointing to me. Sebab utama beli this kit sebab :

187 duo fibre brush. 

Kalau brush tu beli asing, harga dalam rm180 ala carte! phew. Memang mahal. Tapi bila dah brush tu ada dalam set, dan harga pulak rm250 dapat lagi 4 brush lain(takla murah tapi cam berbaloi), tu yang beli jugak. Banyak kali fikir sebenarnya patut beli ka tidak tapi disebabkan nafsu tu melebihi segalanya, beli jugak. 187 brush ni sangat praktikal actually, boleh pakai from applying toner, moisturizer sampai lah foundation bagai. Sebab Dart mesti lepas basuh muka takkan tinggal applying base for my face. So amat berguna lah. TAPI....bila try tartan 187 ni....rupanya syntetic brush ja....cis tertipu! Kalau brush yang jual asing, material dia natural hair yakni, sangat sangat lembut bila apply kat muka. Rasa best sangat! Ni dah nama pun syntetic, tak la selembut the original 187 brush, plus keras skit! Saiz dah la dikecikkan dari yang asal. Haih. Sabaq ajalah. Kesimpulannya, macam agak rugi, walaupu dapat free sling bag. Alah, setakat bag, macam tak perlu. Yang other 4 brushes tu ok la..takla rasa beza sangat. Beli punyalah dah lama sebelum bersalin, tapi baru boleh sempat try minggu ni heeee.
